May is whipping by…! We are already trying to organize our vacation time. Our thoughts so far include over a week at Round Lake and a few days of hiking/exploring the Finger Lakes area of central New York state. I hope both ideas come to fruition. Especially the Finger Lakes idea, it seems like a great outdoors area to venture about. As my work contract is ending (I’m expecting it will be renewed) – I’m still waiting to hear if my vacation requests have been accepted. We need to book ASAP as everything is booking up, we are looking at Bed and breakfasts in the area. We are also looking to make a few long weekends, maybe even a weekend of camping…

Bdot returned the bungled backyard crate to Costco. I’m pretty sure you can return anything to Costco. grin We got a replacement crate and managed to successfully assemble it without killing each other. The assembly was nearly botched again… but we were able to fix a potential area of failure. I think a test for a couple test is to have them assemble something from IKEA or Costco. I’m surprised it isn’t a game show.

Ball hockey tonight and the final semi playoff game, another game seven Detroit and San Jose. I’m not sure who to take. Sentimentally I’m cheering for Detroit who have a shot at coming back from 3-0… almost unheard of in the NHL playoffs. Should be a good game. Canada/Russia in IIHL this afternoon as well. Go Canada!
