bdot, home, Unstoppable

Well, I was looking for a pic of a dandelion but google found Mary-Louise Parker instead. Who am I to argue with that. ๐Ÿ˜€

Another where did the weekend go weekend. Hmm. It was a nicer weekend than I was expecting. Yes it is raining now late Sunday night, but most of the weekend was unseasonably warm. We spent most of Saturday in the backyard trying to reclaim our property from weeds. I also removed another shrub along the barking-dog side fence. I removed a lot of crap out of our interlock brick patio and started cutting and bagging the aforementioned shrub. Bdot was busy along the back ravine fence where there are out of control weeds. We are hoping some preventative action will reap some future reduction in weeds. Weโ€™ll see. We filled the Vibe full of yard waste and took it to the dump. It is nice that it was free! Gawdโ€ฆ one of the buckets of weeds has sat for a few weeksโ€ฆ what a smell. *gag* We ran a few other errands on the way home.

In the evening we watched Unstoppable. I was expecting a pretty standard action flick. I was pleasantly surprised that it was better than I was expecting. Denzel stars in a runaway train film loosely based on the real events of the CSX 8888 incident. The film holds your attention well tossing pitfalls and drama at you which culminates at the end. It was a low brain entertaining film. It was just what I wanted after being outside most of the day. โญโญโญยฝ

Today the yard work continued but at a less intense pace. Bdot attended the neighbourโ€™s bridal shower โ€“ whatever that is โ€“ and I got groceries and continued working in the yard. I guess we got a fair bit doneโ€ฆ it seems never-ending however.
