Washington won. Sabres lost. That’s it folks. The season ends up in disappointing failure. The Sabres will end up missing the playoffs by one or two points… one or two points in a year of blown leads and could have beens. Sigh. Poetic justice for a season where the effort was often lacking at times.

Still… lots to be excited about next year. Some great rookies, getting rid of Roy, two 1st round and two 2nd round picks…. Next year will be better…….. …….. …… Right?
