Google’s Spring doodle

Well Google has brightened the day with a cheerful spring doodle. (I love these) Unfortunately reality is gray, raining and cold outside. I believe some of the angry snow/ice piles around the yard will still be there in May. I guess it is at least a little warmer hovering around zero. First day of Spring? If Spring was in November. 😛

I’m feeling pretty sore still from Tuesday night’s ball hockey. I keep meaning to get a good night’s rest but it never seems to happen. My left forearm strain is still nagging. It is disturbing how long this has lingered. It is so annoying.

It looks like we have some tentative vacation time already decided. One week at Round Lake. Which is sadly the final year we’ll be able to use the cottage there. *sniff* We have also lucked into a week at a cottage on Jake Lake with the Mac family for a week. It should be interesting. We’ve never vacationed with them before, or have been to this cottage. The cottage is owned by someone that Buck is doing some work for. It looks nice from the outside and they are letting us use an assortment of water vessels. Should be fun. It is close to a few Provincial Parks as well… so there should be plenty to do.

Bdot is feeling somewhat better. We’ll see what the weekend has in store… no plans so far.

I guess twitter recently added a feature that allows you to see your first tweet. So naturally looked mine up. I’m assuming it is referring to an election.
