Starting gate

Bdot was away the majority of the weekend at dog trials. I was happy to get a call from Mo to go for a ride. It has been ages since I did a non-Zwift ride. We have some pretty challenging local places to ride (Albion Hills, Palgrave). Fortunately, we realized prior to the ride that ‘the mind is willing but the flesh is weak’ – so we rode the flat Railtrail instead. This was the right decision. We biked close to 30km, starting at Humber Station road ending at Highway 10. It was a near perfect night for a ride. The trail was surprisingly empty too. In spite of the all the ragweed – it was a great ride.

Ukraine has made some significant gains to get its territory back. While this is clearly exciting – it begs the question of how that nutjob P*tin will respond. His army is getting embarrassed and his lies and spin can only obfuscate the truth to Russians for so long.
