Finally got out skating

Bdot came home early yesterday and we finally got out skating on the pond in Palgrave. It was a good skate. We had a little chat with the ice caretaker who said there is close to 20 inches of ice. He seems like a nice guy who is trying to find someone else to take on the ice responsibilities.

Sabres get Caned

Wow… a little numb after hearing this one. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed in Murray. This seems like a ridiculous overpay for a basketcase and a marginal defenseman. The biggest burn is giving up Lemieux AND A FIRST. Kane better not pull his shit in Buffalo… Goodbye to Myers and Stafford… Two long time Sabres vets. Hope I can look back on this in a few years positively but right now it looks like Murray got caned. I’m absolutely flummoxed by this…
