And so it ends. Funding for the Studios fell through today effectively closing the company I worked for. This is deeply saddening for me on numerous levels. There is an outside chance we may find out later today if the Studio was bought by another investor, which may save our jobs. Sigh…. details to follow. I’m crestfallen, hopefully this will work out. I don’t hold a lot of hope however.

UPDATE:

Mildly optimistic a new investor may put life back into the company. He has temporarily taken the reigns. I wonder if he is merely closing the existing contracts to get the payables or is really looking at the long term viability of the Studios? I’ve been told I’ll find out more on Monday.

Well, I guess it is better than flat out done? Heh…
