Brave New World

For years I’ve use Chrome as my browser exclusively. But in the past year or so I switched to Firefox over privacy concerns only to discover Firefox also plays with my data…I tried Vivaldi and believe it is good but it is also bloated into a lot of things I don’t need. I want my browser to be a browser. It doesn’t need to do everything I do online. I’m finding that Vivaldi crashes (the dead bird screen) during streaming A LOT. Nearly every time I stream hockey. So now, I’m trying Brave. So far it seems okay but it will be its performance over the long haul that will determine if it remains my browser of choice.

That Will Smith/Chris Rock slapfest was quite the awkward situation last night at the Oscars.

UPDATE

So bdot decided to go to Mexico for our friend’s daughter’s wedding. She leaves tomorrow morning. 😦 I decided to stay home, watch the pets, I’m not really a sun and sand person and seven days of it is unappealing to me. Sure it would be fun but… meh. I know bdot needs a break, I hope she enjoys the trip.

Forced the site to use HTTPS. Which is always the right thing to do.

Canada’s Men’s National Team looking pretty ineffective against Panama. Certainly didn’t finish strong. (Costa Rica too) They scored one but it was a shoulder offside. Lots of misses. 1-0 loss. Disappointing.
