Well, that can't be good...

In order to send a (very expensive) message?? China has basically surrounded the island of Taiwan with its navy. This is a dangerous and provocative action that has put all sorts of military assets in the region on high alert. This is how wars start. China is trying to demonstrate to Taiwan's new pro-independence leader that China is in charge. It is a huge dick waging endeavour. Just insane. I'm not sure what the U.S. action would be but Japan has pledged to help defend Taiwan... So, this action is going down some very dangerous waters...

🇨🇦 Canada advances to the quarter finals with a solid win over Slovakia 🇸🇰 today at the IIHF Worlds. U.S. 🇺🇸 lost 1-0 to Czechia 🇨🇿 and are out. Sweden 🇸🇪 over the Fins 🇫🇮 in OT. Final Four: Sweden, Canada, Czechia and the Swiss.

🌪️ That storm that triggered a tornado warning last night, thankfully amounted to nothing. I guess the condition were present for serious trouble but the storm passed through the region pretty quickly.

Looking like the quarter-final ball hockey game will be a forfeit for the team we are playing. Ho-hum.
