Huh. First PWHL playoffs start tonight. Watching a bit of Toronto/Minnesota. It is curious that the higher seed gets to choose their opponent for the five game series. Go Toronto!
Well, I did my first real MySwoosh ride. It was good enough for my needs so I don't think I'll be returning to Zwift. It does have some pluses and minuses of course.
The Good:
🔹The graphics work well on my phone and look as good or better than Zwift
🔹There is a marker for every km you ride
🔹Most of the same on-screen data is available...speed, rotation, power. etc.
🔹Has a leveling system like Zwift to unlock more outfits
🔹IT'S FREE
The Bad:
🔹no in-app. Like nothing. apparently this has been something they have been looking at for over a year... This sadly doesn't bode well. I figure one day this app will just not work.
🔹no ride on but it does have various in-app actions
It's a shame the Canucks meet the Oilers this round. One of these great Canadian teams will be out. Anyway... it was an incredible one goal game. Vancouver took game one.
update
After really enjoying the first two seasons of Killing Eve it seems to have derailed with Season 3 episode 2. I'm not sure what is going on? New writers? The intriguing vibe the series had appears to be gone... What a let down. Still, Jodie Comer (Villanelle) and Sandra Oh (Eve) are delivering performances worth watching. I don't think it is their fault the script has evaporated.
Had my first massage in years. It felt great at the time...a few hours later, not so much. 😕
I really enjoy astronomy so when a rare mega magnetic field is hitting North America creating incredible aurora borealis - I was eager to see the rare specular phenomenon. But no. I live in astronomical hell. First it was overcast. Then, yay! the clouds cleared...but nothing. NOTHING. You could maybe faintly see it was maybe trying to form... but it was as remarkable as the Leafs in Round One of the playoffs. Sigh.
