All things considered returning back to a typical work week wasnโt that bad. I guess your body remembersโฆ The job is pretty cool. Hopefully it will turn into something permanent and for real pay. Regardless I have a few other options Iโm pursuing and should hear from this coming week. The current job has great staff and a pretty low key atmosphere which I find pretty important. Weโll see what happens. It was a busy week after work. I had a two technical tests (build a website) to doโฆ the results seem to have been well received.
It was B.โs birthday Thursday. I got her tickets to Cirque de Soliel. Looks like an exciting show! Saturday we had birthday celebrations for her at her sisters. It was a eat meat feast as her brother in law BBQed some amazing ribs. Mmmm ribs. We also enjoyed a DQ ice cream cake. I think Iโve eaten half the cake. *smirk*
Today we did a fair bit of shopping. I got a few new shirts and a pair of pants for work. Winners is pretty good for menโs clothing at much more reasonable prices than Sears or the Bay. After Winners we met up with my sister and JP at IKEA in Vaughan. We found a few things for the house. Can you ever leave IKEA empty handed? We had Carusoโs pizza again for dinner. Mmm. Now I sleep. It has been a pretty busy weekend. Not terribly relaxing.
UPDATE:
Not surprisingly U of T is a no go. I figured they were going to hire โthe womanโ not โthe manโ. It was pretty apparent to me. Sighโฆ And my other led didnโt return a callโฆ Soโฆ a week I thought was going to have some hope is quickly dropping into the shitter. On a brighter note, congrats to my sister and JP on the acceptance of their offer on a house. Hopefully the rest is smooth sailing.
