Last week, I finally got my second covid shot. It took me out for about a day and a half afterward. Bdot had even worse post-shot symptoms. But it is done and I’m glad to not be a threat to humanity. Things are inching forward otherwise. There is talk of possibly needing a third shot. Oh boy.
Last night we drove up to Collingwood for a paddle on Georgian Bay. I was a little surprised at the massive rock shelves that sometimes looked like baked buns and how shallow the water was. There was also an oddly coloured sky. At places along the horizon, the water and sky blurred together. It was pretty surreal. Bdot has a group of ‘paddling buddies’ who we met there. Paddling in a group is certainly better. Mystic is really taking a liking to padding – now willingly hopping on board.
