Good lord it is cold. I think we are hitting some record lows in the neighborhood of -20 to -30. We had planned on going out to do some skiing or snowshoeing but was way too cold.

My parents came up Saturday afternoon for a visit. It has been awhile since they were last here so it was great to have a good chunk of time to relax, eat, drink and be merry. Which is primarily what we did. We watched a fair bit of T.V. as my Mom wanted to watch a curling tournament on TSN. (They don’t have TSN at home) It is actually a pretty interesting sport. They made some crazy shots. It was nice to lounge around and relax with the around at home. They ended up staying the evening. In the morning we all went to Flapjacks, my favourite all-day breakfast restaurant. Mom wearing Tanga. We parted ways after breakfast intending to see each other again for a Superbowl party at my sister’s.

B. and I did a little shopping afterward returning some stuff to Moore’s. We are thinking about getting hitched and looked at some suits. Since haven’t set a time, we decided we’d return to look at current stock once a date and location have been decided.

Sabres had an unimpressive week getting only 2 of 6 point versus the Isles. Gah.
