Good news.

My employer verbally offered me a one year contract position to start January 2010! 😀 So I’m good to go for 14 months. They expect the contract would continue, but due to the economic climate, they didn’t want to ‘guarantee’ anything. Huzzah! There are a few details I’m hoping to settle, a work from home day and an extra week of vacation… but otherwise things are finally looking good workwise.

Still have not heard anything about the job I interviewed for last week. I e-mailed and no response. *eyeroll*

I have a nice long weekend. Off both Friday and Monday. We are away on a mini-getaway this weekend. I’m expecting a relaxing and wonderful weekend with B..
