So I reluctantly agreed to a easy road walk in Glen Haffy today. The day after ball hockey is usually pretty sore and stiff for this aging player. But it was a nice day and we had no other plans so, why not... So Glen Haffy is about 25m North of where we live... There is much more snow there. It was a slog though only mildly trailblazed snow. It was much more than I was hoping for... But we survived and tried a local pizza place that was recommended to bdot. The name of the place is a mouthful, Molto Bene Pizzeria And More Eh. It was fantastic. We like a thin crust so you get sauce, cheese and toppings; NOT DOUGH. It was the thinnest pizza I've had in the region. We just had pepperoni slices, but I think we'll be back for a full pie. It is a shame it is so far away, it easily beats everything we have locally. sigh...

Well, I guess a comeuppance was coming... We had our worst ball hockey that I can remember. We were short numbers and played 3 on 3 and it just threw off our chemistry the entire night. Nothing went right. Shots missed, passed missed, defensive lapses and not a great night from our goalie. Everyone was bad. First game this season I didn't score as well. I was forward, which I can't do effectively anymore it seems... Just a mess of night hockey wise. The post game camaraderie however was great. Lots of laughs. The food was pretty underwhelming however...

Our major appliances seem to have quite the sense of humour. We had a fridge die near Christmas and it looks like our furnace is down on Superbowl Sunday... Unreal.

Seems Mango Mussolini still wants Canada as a 51st state. What an asshole he is... I do wonder how much BS Americans will tolerate before they actually DO something. I get the GOP senators are all getting paid and are revelling in the corruption. But the rest of the people on Earth are watching in disgust.

I think the furnace is playing with us. It came back to life a few hours after it died... It has been on since. But, clearly something is misfiring or not functioning properly and a furnace can't work intermittently when it feels like it. We are having it serviced later this week. Sooner if it stops again.

Eagles won the Superbowl or whatever. Apparently, US media overlaid cheers when Mango was shown (to hide all the boos)... One of the facets of fascism is control over the media and hiding the truth. And you might say this is minor... but it shows the intent of the media to showcase everything as rosy and LIE to Americans. You know who else does this? Russia. China. North Korea. What else aren't they saying? Legacy media in the US is dead.

Watched a dreadful sci-fi movie called How It Ends. Oh the irony. Because HOW IT ENDS is the worst part of the film. I won't spoil this film but you should just avoid it anyway. Unsatisfying and empty. It builds to the wettest fart of a conclusion ever. Just say no. ⭐⭐ I mean double 17%s on Rotten Tomatoes is pretty hard to achieve...Some of the acting was decent so I'm sparing it from the single star rating.

We got a nice dump of snow yesterday and I'm really sore. I sure down bounce back like I did. Aging sucks so hard...
