Stars

Phew. What a long day…Right after work I had a massage appointment. So after creeping Northward on the 427 I was really ready to be worked. I’m a mess of knots apparently. I think all the RMT did was remove knots. I think I have an awful chair at work and my posture is less than stellar. I’m still looking for the über desk chair for home.

So after various household chores I finally sat down to enjoy some music I’ve downloaded… I heard the single from Stars called Ageless Beauty (off of Set Yourself on Fire) and loved it. It reminded me a lot of Lush, one of my favourite bands. Sadly listening to the rest of the tracks they are nothing like the Lush-like single. The rest of the album is harder to define with all sorts of strange instrumentation and *that male lead singer*. I don’t understand why he sings when they could use the angelic voice of the female singer (who I find infinitely better). I’ll give the album a few more listens hopefully it will grow on me. Ho-Hum.

Twelve days until the NHL regular season starts! I’m ready! Hooked up NHL Centre Ice (no pre-season or playoffs though :P) so I can watch another season of the Sabres struggles to keep out of the cellar.

Congrats to my sister who scored a job today. Good luck with it!
