Huh! Toronto FC fans have been calling for the club's President, Bill Manning to resign for quite a few years. The club has been awful. Today he finally stepped down... No news about a replacement... but at least something is happening. TFC just lost to Forge... the budget disparity between the clubs is staggering.
Wow...I've been watching some of Biden's recent press and it's not good. Hey, we all age and decline as we do so... Sometimes it results in physical limitations and/or mental. It happens. The thing is, when you are President of the U.S., arguably one of the most important jobs on Earth, you kinda need to be sharp, on the ball, and mentally capable. It is becoming very apparent that Biden should step down. I really don't think he is fit for President any more. Why isn't there an age limit??! The best thing he could do is step down and let someone else run against Tr*mp. I mean if Biden is this bad now, what will he be like in four years? It is actually pretty scary. Not as scary as a 2nd Tr*mp term but... it is getting in the ballpark. I mean he called Zelenskyy P*tin and his V.P. Harris Tr*mp today... *yikes*

What a great game from Canada to end COPA. They started a different lineup and they pushed Uruguay hard... broken record comment for the tournament: tons of chances - could have put the game away. NO FINISH They could have put it away early... but...NOPE. They scored fairly late, were up 2-1... it was looking like a historic win. But I don't know what was going on but instead of protecting the lead - they tried to continue to play rush ball... and got burnt on it with Uruguay tying late. You could see it coming. Disappointing. So penalty kicks... they went awful. Kone, who had a great game had an awful PK. So did Davies. Two misses and you lose.
Still... Canada's depth impressed. I hope this is a learning game. How to protect a lead late in an important game. Well done Canada. So close though. SO CLOSE.
Oh and it appears someone took a shot at Tr*mp...the King of violence and somehow he (in a moment he could have allegedly been killed) make a bunch of gestures to the crowd. The photos from it are ridiculous. I wouldn't put it past him to stage something like that to use it to rally his cult followers. I guess more news will come from it...He's fine. Barely a flesh wound. I'm amazed he bleeds. (Unfortunately a spectator was killed apparently.) The press and spin he'll get from the shooting is probably going to have a more profound impact. Of course some nut job republicans are claims the democrats did it. (A photo of the shooters voter registration said republican.) I can't even...Do I think the world would be better without Tr*mp? Absolutely. But all the death trolling is pretty cringe. Even for a scumbag like Tr*mp.
