GO TEAM! *cough*

Well down to one final project for IMM then finito. It is a project I’ve had little to do with. The client video. It is mostly there. One of the teachers offered to assist in editing it for clarity which is good (so I might not have too – I *feel* I’ve done most of the rest of the project )… I’m glad that aspect of the course is done. The entire course my client groups have sucked. They spent as much time bickering and complaining as they did working. It was truly alarming. What are these people going to do in the *real* world where asshat behaviour gets you fired? Of the eight classmates I worked with, I’d likely only work with 3-4 again. Gah. What a waste of my energy. No wonder after the past stressful three weeks of physical neglect, ridiculous hours and eating poorly I’ve finally come down with a cold. Sigh. I hope all my bitching will save future IMMers the need of having to work together in a similar manner together. I understand and appreciate the need for group work but it *must* be implemented differently.

Ahh, that feels better.

The Open house last Wednesday was decent. I got some interest. I printed up snazzy business cards. I just need to work unadulterated on my site for a day or two to get it where I want it to be. I’ve decided to convert my Director RPG game to Flash to give it more playability. Sooo… now comes the period when I find out if the past 10 months were worth it…. trying to find a job. I do feel more capable. I hope employers do to.

B. and I got the bikes out yesterday. I think my body was in shock having to be *used* in such a manner. It had better wake up or it will be a long summer for it. We are off to see our future dog this morning in London. No the specific pup hasn’t been selected yet, but we’re off to see all of them.
