I have been working ‘on contract’ for the past week a random number of daily hours finishing the projects we still have. I’m not sure how long this will last, maybe another week, two at the most. It is money, so… *shrug*. Especially since my EI claim hasn’t started yet. It is impressive how much the gov’t has streamlined the system and moved it completely on-line. Bravo Canada! I filled completely online and apparently can do weekly updates online as well. It is pretty simple and convenient. The delay was getting a proper RoE from the accountant at ‘work’. I had two ‘Service Canada’ locations I could drop it off at. Brampton or Orangeville. In spite of Orangeville being a little father I figured it would be less busy. I like being right! I walked in and there was no line-up. I thought there was a recession? Anyway, it has been a curious week.

Monday will also be curious. I have a potential job led, it is a long shot but, we shall see. Details to follow…

I have to mention the monstrous comeback the Sabres had in Dallas. They were down 4-1 and ended up winning in the shootout 5-4. Amazing!
