I’m dreaming of a White Christmas…

Last night was Christmas at my parents with my Dad’s family. It was a lot of fun. Everyone was in character. My outspoken aunt was outspoken, my uncles were mostly invisible and my cousins ducked away and played with our dog. The dog was a big hit with everyone. She absorbed love like a dry sponge in an ocean drinking deep from person to person. One of my uncles (6’5ish easily 250) must have creeped the dog out a bit as she became very submissive around him.

Today B. and I had my parents and my brother-in-law over for dinner. The food was great and in spite of everyone being very tired… we had a good time.

I got some neat stuff as prezzies. Sweaters, a 4G USB drive (mmm storage), tons of candy, Sabres v. Leafs ticket at the ACC (Jan 26 2006) which I’ve never been to for a hockey game so it should be fun – especially I’ll be with a Leafs’ fan, also interesting was tix to see Blue Man Group in January as well. Their material is interesting, rock/percussively based theatrical performance. I’m expecting a cool show. What a nice surprise B! I’m soooo looking forward to a few days of down time to sleeeeeeep, game and chill out.
