Lies and the Lying Liars

Friday night we drove up to B.’s sister’s cottage, about 5 minutes from Port Severn (north of Barrie). What a great weekend! I ended doing a lot of work with B.’s brother in law. I helped get a thirty year old boat engine going… a few parts had broken… it was amazing you could find them at the local marina’s parts store. Pretty funny for me to work on an engine. -smirk- Today Bill and I took down a bunch of limbs off a tree. Chainsaws are fun. ch-ch-ch-ah-ah-ah….The lot of us went for a boat ride into Port Severn. The area is so nice… many nice cottages, boats etc. A great area to relax in. If only the freaking mosquitos would leave us alone.

I actually did a little reading this weekend. I’m working my way through Al Franken’s Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right… It is a good read. Finally someone is setting those Conservatives straight!!

Ahhh… the Sabres…Since I was in transit I missed the Friday night collapse. All the better I guess. I don’t know how you can lose 4-0 at home. Sigh. Tonight’s loss was less disappointing. A powerplay in OT? Are you kidding me? Let’s go buffalo! Congrats to the Oil!! WOW!
