Wow! 360 is tons of fun!

*blush* In a somewhat spontaneous moment of gamer weakness (and who doesn’t have them?!) I bought a 360. And noisy fan aside I couldn’t be happier. Clearly with this console Micro$oft got it right. The menus are clean, straightforward and easy to use. The focus on community and online play is everywhere. You have friends lists and can organize games to play; it lets you know (even in game) if they are online… everything just seems smart and intuitive. Gawd did I just say that? Additionally you can download demos, new content, music, video etc. etc. Setup was very easy. Within 15 minutes I was gaming online with some co-workers. The controllers have a nice feel to them, You can plug a headset into them and kick the gaming experience up a whole other notch. I have an old school school TV and I’m happy with the graphics, so I can only imagine how impressive they will look on a high def TV. After the disappointment I felt for the original Xbox, the 360 thus far makes up for it. Good job Micro$oft! Gawd, did I just say that?

It seems M$ is already addressing the loud fan. Sweet!

Sorry for taking the gift idea (which would have been incredi-wow) away hon. Now, however, there are many more options available!
