Fun with food! The Supreme smirk

A long day. I feel quite tired now. After work I went to see 300. Wow…. seriously intense from the first frame. The film is a VERY stylized action movie based on the real Battle of Thermopylae. While the film is really only historically accurate in spirit it does offer the heart and soul of the moment in spades. I felt many scenes were a visual feast. The choice of colours and how contrast was used in pretty unparalleled. The film is gritty and makes little apologies for it. I was very surprised to see a few families there considering the highly graphic content and there was some brief nudity. Have fun on the ride home Dad. I felt the acting (by all actors I don’t know) was very compelling and portrayed the Spartans as a proud and noble race that fought against great odds to protect their way of life. Certainly not a film for anyone with Julia Roberts films in their collection. However those who enjoy an intense action packed drama – I have not seen a film compare in quite some time. An impressive film for sure. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⅓
