Getting warmer

I’m finishing my third week at the Burlington job. I really like the atmosphere, the people and I’m doing interesting and engaging work… So I was pretty happy after getting pulled into the board room yesterday to talk to the IT Lead and Director. They said they were pleased with how I was doing and were eager to find a way to keep me on in the future! There wasn’t a full time job offer…but hopefully soon. They wanted to get some salary data then maybe pitch me an offer. That would be great! *crosses fingers* The commute is busy, but moving and it is no where near as bad at the commute to Eglinton/Don Mills last year.

I’m a bachelor for the weekend. B. has gone up to Killaloe to get her car repaired and hang out with a friend. yes hopefully the long and painful saga of Vibe autobody repairs will finally come to an end. I’m looking forward to some serious downtime this weekend.
