Canadians! Vote! Donโ€™t know who to vote for? I found this interesting quiz link on Transplanted seed (now password locked ๐Ÿ˜•) which selects your most suitable party based on various election issues. Strangelyโ€ฆ I got NDP with 100%โ€ฆ I did like Jack. But didnโ€™t vote for him.

Jack Layton Leader of the New Democratic Party of Canada (score = 100)
Gilles Duceppe Leader of the Bloc Quebecois (score = 75)
Paul Martin Leader of Liberal Party of Canada, Prime Minister of Canada (score = 60)
Stephen Harper Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada (score = 35)

Less surprising, Harper was a mere 35. Should be a close election! Shame about those Blocheads. It would be interesting if they dropped the gay separatist goal of the party and focused on Canada, I bet theyโ€™d do alright. But then againโ€ฆ they wouldnโ€™t be the Bloc would they?

B. and I rented Secret Window with Johnny Depp and John Turturro. We enjoyed the film. Deppโ€™s role as a writer going mad was familiar as a Stephen King plot (which many reviewers used against the film)โ€ฆ but Depp hit the role pretty well. I was a little surprised to read how harsh some of the reviews were at Rotten Tomatoes. Although after reading a few of the negative reviews, they did make sense, especially โ€˜Weโ€™re asked to believe that John Shooter [Tuturro] is a creative writerโ€ฆyeah, and Iโ€™m a nuclear physicist.โ€. Very true. It is certainly one of those films you try guessing where the plot is going. So, it was entertaining and I enjoyed the direction. On the DVD we rented, there was additional commentary from the director who explained a lot of subtle imagery used in the film that I didnโ€™t catch. The additional content, in some ways, was as interesting as the film, hmm, maybe that isnโ€™t good. Anyway, it was a good Sunday night renterโ€ฆ I spin it at โญโญโญยฝ .
