My Mom drove up for a visit this weekend. We ventured to Laura's Farm Stand in Cookstown. I don't think I've walked in such a massive field of flowers before. It was like a box of smarties exploded (only the warm colours)...After gathering flowers and some food, we stopped in town for ice cream. I turned 'Cinnamon Bunz' ice cream into one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. YUM!

We stopped at St.Philips in Nobleton for dinner and dessert. It was pretty yummy. I wasn't fond of their 'custard' tasted like it was missing sugar or something bleck. It was a pretty quiet night. The walk around in Cookstown was tiring, it was really hot. An enjoyable visit. Had a good talk with my mother. She is off to visit my sister in B.C. in a few weeks...

Ball hockey is back! So, of course, so is warmer weather making the gym uncomfortably hot. 🙄👎 It was a good turn out. Typically, the first meeting has been 'community random team' games but we changed it up for a mini tournament instead. *shrug* Either is fine by me. The shorter games were pretty interesting. There are some new players that look like good additions to the league. The teams are all good. Every game could go either way for sure. Lots of talent and it is now well spread around... First real game Friday.

This weekend is a boyz weekend at Joe's cottage. It must have been close to a decade since we all got together there. Should be fun.

Great night (Monday) for Buffalo sports. Sabres won (just pre-season) as did the Bills.

TFC. UGH.
