Huh. I got another wedding invite today from the friend most of us figured would never get married. Well… he is going to beat me. Most of my friends are married, (or divorced), I haven’t walked down the aisle yet, and I may never. The importance of marriage seems to be fading in society… I’m not sure it is a good thing… But it is happening. Legally, divorces are far too easy to get (financially – however can be a different story), if it is what both parties want… (However if one side in a divorce wants to stall – well that can go on for ages as well… *cough* *cough*) I like having a partner. A number one in my life with whom I share everything with. I don’t think a ring and a ceremony will make me any more, or any less committed to my relationship. I mean you are or you aren’t right? I’m not sure what my future will hold(I’d be afraid to look anyway – good grief) but I know I want B. in it in whichever role , title, capacity we agree to have in each other’s life… anything being possible. I guess this unplucked gem really is plucked after all… Hmm.
