Phew, putting up a tree is tiring…

Saturday we ventured to Hockley Valley Tree Farm to get our Christmas tree. Having gone to Drysdales for the previous few years we thought we’d try something a little closer this year. Hockley was decent… there were a lot of trees. Trying to decent between two very similar looking trees gets to be rather futile. But we found one we liked and today it got its first round of decorations.

Sunday was game day! I drove up to Cambridge (which seemed closer than I recalled… hmm) to meet some friends to play some Xbox 360. NHL 2K7 and Ghost Recon seemed to be the most popular of the day. Games that sucked included Moto GP 2006 (how many times can you wipe out before it becomes OLD…?!!) and Splinter Cell Double Agent which *says* it is multiplayer but really isn’t…. there are no spilt screen options. Nice. I ate a lot of junk food and gaming for hours on end seemed to really jar my system… by the time I got home I felt awful. My head was pounding and I felt nauseous. I went straight to bed. Gah…
