Sad.

We went up to Bonnie and Buck’s near Bethany yesterday for Buck’s 40th birthday party. It was a busy affair. There must have been close to 60 people there. They have a big property but rain forced everyone inside making quarters pretty tight. It was a fun night for the most part.

Unfortunately it was also a tragic night for one of the couples at the party. They had their dog wander off at night and it walked onto the nearby highway were it was hit and killed. Bonnie and Buck’s daughter found the dog during a walk beside the highway. Needless to say that ended the party atmosphere for the remainder of the evening. Brutal. I couldn’t imagine losing my dog that way. 😦
