The Two Towers

I finally was able to see The Two Towers… and I must say I was somewhat disappointed. Yes, it is a great film, but it is NOT an honest account of the book which is what I wanted, expected and didn’t see…

There were not Elves in Helms Deep, Frodo was never in Gondor and Aragorn never fell off a cliff and then Jackson leaves out two of the best parts of TTT.. I know directors take liberties … but Jackson has always said he is making a close-to-the-book account of LOTR…

I was really looking forward to two parts of The Two Towers in particular… both were cut from the Two Towers (and may be in Return of the King..but… SHOULD be in TTT)

Namely: Shelob’s Lair (which I expect will be in ROTK) but bah. Should be in TTT and the whole scene in Isengard, The Voice of Saruman and the Palantir…

In my humble opinion, the best chapters in TTT. Why were these omitted? BAH. DISAPPOINTING!!

Jackson had earned so much of my respect after chapter one…sigh. And worst of all, I have to wait a year to determine if my hate-on for Jackson is well founded or not. BahhHH!! ArH! Still, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⅓
