Recovering Cat

It is starting to look a lot like Christmas.

Remi cat had dental surgery today. I’m happy she came through it well. She is still pretty dopey however. Our bank account is substantially lighter. I love that Vets guess a range of costs and it is never in the low end. *eyeroll* Thanks to B. for running the cat around today. I’m not sure if I could bear it. Even today the cat still seeks me out. She is a remarkable companion and a wonderfully unique cat.

I’ve also been run thought the Dental grinder. I had another two hour appointment in the Chair of Suffering and Anguish on Wednesday. I’m still in some discomfort today. I’m getting a crown next Thursday… which I pray will be my last dental visit for a long time. I also saw my Doctor yesterday and got the results of my blood work. I’m healthy. My good cholesterol is a little low and my bad cholesterol is a little high however. Ha! My doctor recommended : lecithin, fish oils, aerobic exercise and alcohol… Yes kids my doctor told me to drink more beer. I was very tempted to hug him but considering I also had a physical I thought it was be misconstrued. *Cough*

I have my salary review tomorrow at work. They better have deep pockets…

Review went okay I guess. 5% raise but the contract which was for a year was offered to renew at only six months… which is really disappointing – additionally they denied again my request to work from home. Clearly the long term possibilities of this working out are rather dismal.
