Swamp dog.

It has been a few days since the last entry. Thursday and Friday work was very busy. Friday I had an offsite meeting. The devs we (J. and I) met with are really good guys… It would be nice to work with them on another project with a different client. They took us out for Sushi in Markham. Apparently they are regulars there and know some of the guys by name. They knew the menu by heart. It was kinda funny. I’m not big on Sushi but there was plenty to eat even for a pasty white guy like me.

Saturday we went to Brampton for our nephew’s birthday party. We has Chinese takeout. It is usually good but it upset my stomach. *frown* We also had amazing chocolate cake from Mercato in Bolton. Mmmmm. When we got home I watched the Sabres. It was a good game in spite of the shoot-out loss. I played some Warhammer but it kept crashing. Enough Vista BS! I stayed up late to install XP. Vista has been removed from all the computers in the house. Never to return… Sunday B. had a VSO meeting most of the day. As usual it was full of fireworks. I stayed home and did some cleaning, watched the Bills lose and a had nap with my dog. Once B. got home we took the dog for a walk in Albion Conservation. The weather was strange… in the distance was some rather ominous dark gray clouds. We ended up stopping for groceries before coming home. Now it is finally chill out time on the couch. I’m tired enough to endure bad TV with B.. At least the company is good.
