It was a holiday weekend. My mom drove up for a visit and dinner. We had a little turkey roast, pierogi, carrots and bdot made her coffee angel food cake. It is divine. It was a great visit. Talked about all sorts of things... Pretty quiet otherwise.
Bdot and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary. We celebrated by admitting we didn't want to go anywhere and relaxed on couch most of the day...
It was a shitshow for my sports teams... The Jays look badly outmatched by the Marines. The Sabres start to the season is as pathetic as they have ever been. 2 goals, 0 for 14 (or whatever) on the PP and no points in three games. Fans ALREADY tossing jerseys on the ice, wearing paper bags and chanting 'Fire Adams'... Great fscking job. What an arrogant, incompetent moron. Doesn't plan for success, prays and hopes for success... well dickhead six seasons of on the ice clueless garbage - why are you still here?! Oh and the Bills lost too...I'm to the point now where the Sabres get behind by 2 or more, I turn the game off and do something else... Pretty soon I might just be checked out for everything. SELL THE TEAM TERRY!

Columbia is a top 15 ranked team in the world. They just spanked Mexico 4-0! It was conceivable that Canada could have met a similar fate. But the boys played a great game. There were chances on both sides but the game ended as a draw. I think a good result for Canada against such a strong opponent...
Mare of Easttown was pretty incredible. We finished it tonight...
