UGH. Well... Bills got stopped by KC again. It was a close, back and forth game right down to the final 2m...Bills just didn't do enough in the final minutes to score or give themselves another chance to do so...Heartbreaking for Buffalo... no problem, we still got the Sabres. *record scratch* ๐
We were missing our new starting goalie on Friday. But that didn't seem to matter much.... I think we played our best full game ever. Everyone scored. We don't count goal differentials above 5, but... I think the final score was something like 10-1. It really was a great defensive effort. This is a league that goals get scored. I don't recall if there has ever been a one goal performance before. Certainly a fun night for our team.
My sister is moving again... they are downsizing and moving North of Kamloops. Hopefully they find a place they can settle at for a while...
So this doesn't become consumed by bitching about Tr*mp destroying the universe... Barring MAJOR incidents... I'll keep the fire on The Grift page.

Hmpt. Well Debian's Wayland/KDE runs fantastic - unfortunately, the hibernation recovery for NVIDIA is very broken. So, I'm going to try X11 (sigh) and hope it recovers okay. Really enjoying Debian this issue withstanding.

Ugh... hop hop hop. I can't resolve the issue with hibernation and Debian. I thought it was just a Wayland/NVIDIA issue but the same thing is happening in X11. I can't find any useful info to resolve it... I do like KDE Plasma so, going to try Fedora KDE Plasma and hope it functions better. Sigh. Shame... otherwise Debian was really solid. I think I had one app force quit but no crashes. *shrug*
So Fedora Wayland KDE Plasma (the same enivronment as Debian) and sleep works. I don't understand. But I'm happy it works... so I guess we are going with Fedora! I do want to use Wayland... it seems crisper and responsive. Obviously it needs to mature but I like it a lot.

Do people even test these distros??! My hardware can't be more than a few years old...Restore from sleep. All my USB devices are down. Random black screen system lock 15m later. Fedora sucks! SMH. Next!
Kubuntu will be my last try at keeping KDE. Then fsck it. Just going to put POP on it... Unreal.
