I’m really liking Bolton. For a ‘small town’ there is a lot going on here. The town has a massive commercial strip with ‘Big Box’ stores and strip malls, restaurants etc. and still is close for walking trails and parks. The Bolton Fair was on last night. It is the typical amusement rides, candy, lights, noise and Edge Motorsports had a Demolition Derby. I’ve never been to a smash ’em up, I have to say (in spite of the horrible seating) it was pretty fun. Basically take a few cars put them in a concrete encased dirt arena and they smash each other until only one car is running. It is amazing how much abuse cars can take. Regrettably for the final round the fireman who was spraying water on the course to keep the dust down oversprayed and the cars had zero traction. They looked like they were racing in slow motion. Meh. Overall however a nice distraction within walking distance of home.

We top seeded the front yard yesterday. I love the Maple trees, but they do a number on the grass below. They will be thinned out soon hopefully.
