Sideways

B. and I went down to St.Catharines to visit my parents, something I should do more of. It was good to see them. We had a nice dinner and decided to see Sideways. There is certainly a lot of hype about this movie… 5 Oscar nominations. 96% on Rotten Tomato. I enjoyed it. My parents not so much. And I think B. is somewhat undecided. It was slow as a comedy. I think it is better to describe it as a drama with some funny scenes. I liked the characters and the writing was very witty at times. However, I don’t know about all the Oscar nominations… is there that much crap being released in Hollywood that THIS film seems THAT good. I mean it was good but… Anyway. See it, rent it, download it, whatever, let me know what you think. ⭐⭐⭐½ -smirk-
