What a jerk.

Friday night I attended a party for work. The company is now listed on the TSE Ventures Capital exchange. Interesting stuff, but I don’t understand it at all. The party was held at the swanky Academy of Spherical Arts which was a cool place. They had a pool table commissioned by one of the King’s of England (not that that helped my game much) and a ton of imported beers to pick from. It was fun to see (most) of my co-workers relaxed and away from work. They certainly are a fun bunch of guys. Hopefully all this stock stuff will lead to a better cash flow at work. I hear bits and pieces of stuff but I’m mostly in the dark on all of it. I think there is going to be a meeting soon where details are explained… Hmm.

Dogs are gross. Everything goes into their mouth. The stinker the better. Dead things. Poo. Scraps. I did say everything? Anyway… finding it curious at times owning a dog. They can do some very strange things (by human standards anyway…). Started today with a walk in Heartlake conservation with aforementioned poo eating animal. It was pretty breezy today. Ahh Fall.

The rest of the afternoon was spent shopping. We started at Ikea. I wanted to get a new desk, something more usable for the office space we have. I decided on the Jerker (ah, yes, Jerker desk, my how B. has had fun with your silly name…) desk last trip to Ikea so today I was going to get the desk. We decided to check out the AS-IS before we went to the desk isle. Wow… behold! A Jerker desk 1/3 off due to a little dent.. score! We scooped that up quickly, I couldn’t see it lasting. After dismantling and B. dropping the desk we got it to fit in the car. We went back in and got a few more components for the desk. After the office is painted I’m looking forward to a better utilized space with this desk. We has yummy sandwiches at California Sandwiches then went clothes shopping. The evening was another dog run, hockey, bacon and some prep work in the office for painting. Now I’m tired. So, g’night.
