Fun with food! The Supreme smirk

After a late night at the movies Friday I chilled out most of Saturday. Played some games did a little shopping. I installed ubuntu Linux on my black computer and it seems to run pretty well in spite of running on only 512k. (That computer had 1G of RAM but the other RAM SIMM had errors on it so I tossed it) The default X Windows manager for Ubuntu is unfortunately Gnome… I’ve always preferred KDE so… after some poking around I found there is an easy way to switch to KDE with Kubuntu. So far so good. I’ve had Linux installs on that box before but it would crash at least once I week. I’m hoping it was due to the bad RAM. Sunday I attended a Baptism for nivek’s daughter. Yes, I set foot in a church. It burned for only a few seconds. -smirk- It was a pretty fast ceremony. Afterward there was a formal dinner which was really good. I’ve never been to a post-Baptism sit down dinner. It was a fun night. Nice to see nivek and some mutual acquaintances I don’t get to see that often.

B. was at a dog shows all weekend so I barely saw her at all. –frown- The breed wasn’t well represented so it wasn’t much of an opportunity for Tanga to get some points. We are going to do some tests on Tanga to make sure everything is as it should be. She is particularly lethargic for a Vizsla and her indifference to play with other dogs for the past several months is also odd. It could be nothing but considering the dog history of B. and I it makes sense to be cautionary.
