Game 7

Game 7

With some extra money from a side project a picked up a Sony PSP yesterday. It seems like a powerful little device. It came with a demo disc with some movie trailers, games you couldnโ€™t play ๐Ÿ˜› and some music videos. The colour is amazing the sound seemed to vary depending on the media. I tried to get the web browser working at home with little success. Sigh. The Sony forums are unmoderated so they were of little help. Hopefully Iโ€™ll figure it out. The PSP is really just a vessel for content. By itself it does nothing. You can buy games and movies on their proprietary UMDs (universal media discs โ€“ one of the few aspects of the PSP that is super annoyingโ€ฆ they have these great little discs with great storage capability but they donโ€™t sell them so you canโ€™t put your own content on themโ€ฆ bahโ€ฆ:P) so you have to buy a memory stick. The sticks max out at around 2G. The store I bought my PSP at was out of 2G sticks and had no idea when more would be in. Double BAH!! Hopefully the Tigerdirect in Etobicoke has these magical memory sticks โ€ฆ โ€˜cuz I canโ€™t do anything with the PSP without one. (unless I buy games or movies of course at $50 a popโ€ฆ.) Seems like a bit of a money pit. But Iโ€™m looking forward to listening to MP3s and watching movies on it once I get my memory stick. Also looking to see what RPGs there are for the PSPโ€ฆ It would be a great little unit for long trips. More on the PSP adventure later.

Wowโ€ฆ Game seven of the Eastern Conference finalsโ€ฆ winner plays for the Cupโ€ฆ does it get any better??!
