Ugh.

Ah, yes, commuting across Toronto. Stop. Go. Stop. Go. Repeat. I’ve tried a few different routes this week in an effort to determine the most painless way to work. I tried going across King, which wasn’t too busy, but long and still fairly slow. The 401 was of course stop and go, very busy and the worst option. Today I tried the 407. Wow. I drove from Brampton to the 404 in under 25 minutes! Joy! Bliss! Now to convince my employer to pay for it. Hmm. Oddly the drive home West last night at around 6 was surprisingly painless, and surely wasn’t what I was expecting.

The mice in our garage are faring quite poorly. The mouse traps have been highly effective at killing mice. Not sure what the death toll is at now but nearly every day since we discovered the problem we’ve snapped another mouse.

Turkey weekend is coming. B. and I are debating about what to do. We have an offer to head up to Round Lake. I’m sure it would be beautiful up there… but the 5-6 hour drive… Ugh.
