ROCK YOU! (Helix)

Nivek arranged to see the Toronto Rock last night with a bunch of Brock Alumni. I’ve never been to a lacrosse match. We had a private ‘skybox’ at the ACC, that was pretty sweet. I have to say it was very entertaining. I didn’t always understand the rules and what was going on… lacrosse appears to combine gameplay from basketball and hockey… that aside it was a lot fun. The Rock were up 3, then down 2 with just over a minute left… they tie it up! Then win in OT! Unreal. I met a few Brock grads and caught up with some old friends. Good times. I’d certainly see the Rock and join the Brock grads again.

And for a change I didn’t get raped by parking downtown. Last time I went downtown they changed $20! to park for a few hours… last night half as much at $10. While in most cases that is still a lot… I didn’t feel my ass burn as much paying $10. I don’t know why that bugs me so much… I guess because the parking lots changing $20 are milking and abusing their locations.
