We will never step backward

As Canada and especially the U.S. (wait to see how PP ruins Canada in the future...) are sliding rights backwards into oblivion. It is nice to see some democracies are instead enshrining rights for their people. You know, like a democracy should. Certainly not like a GOP democracy will ever be. Yes, France added the right to abortion to their constitution! Incredible. Out of 925 MPs and senators eligible to vote, 780 supported the amendment, which will give women the “guaranteed freedom” to choose an abortion. "We will never step backward" one France politician said. Yes, while the South is stripping away a woman's right to choose and criminalizing every aspect of the process. It is good to know, at least somewhere in the world, the fear-mongering so-called Cons aren't setting the standard for the nation.

Two good ball hockey games Friday. We won our final game and won the top stop in the standings. We play our semi-final game on Friday. I think one team will get a bye however. *shrug*

Whoa! TFC is off to a very unexpected start. Under Herdman they have 4 of 6 points on the road against very tough teams. A bit impressed...

In Canada there is a store that sells popcorn called Kernals. My favourite is popcorn there is a candy coated flavour called Super Kid (I think).Anyway, bdot made a respectable variation with Jell-o flavours this weekend. Needless to say it was very popular....
