happy mother's day

Today is my sister’s 30th birthday. Phew. Happy Birthday you PITA.

Today is also Mother’s Day. B. and I made the trip down to St.Catharines today to see my Mother. We had a wonderful dinner and Skor cake. Mmm.

Congrats to Steve Nash… I’m not a big basketball guy, but seeing a Canadian named MVP of the NBA is pretty remarkable. What’s not remarkable is the Canadian Men’s Hockey play in Austria. Phew. The game against Finland was painful to watch at times. Finland gave the effort I expect from Canada. More play like that and there will be no medal this year. Meh.
