Negligent

I guess I’ve been a negligent blogger. *whistles* Not a whole lot going on at the moment. I’ve been working on completing a web site in my off hours. The rest of the time I’m at work, gaming or sleeping. You can tell the seasons have changed. I haven’t BBQed in a week and the dishwasher is full of bowls instead of plates.

The HTC Desire @ telus is still not in. *grr*

There was quite a storm in the area two nights ago. On my drive into work down HWY 50 all the traffic lights in Bolton were out. Cops were directing the massive backlog of cars through the dead lights. It was a little apocalyptic. The dog is finally in season so DP dog is housebound for a few weeks. Ho-hum. We have been scoping out new glasses frames. It is curious what just ‘works’ and what doesn’t. It seems like each face has a type of frame that suits. I was interested in a dark Harley Davidson frame with skulls on it but alas… they were too tight on my big head. The plans for the weekend have us going down to Niagara on Saturday to see my parents and Captain’s family.

After a few weeks of driving the Subaru – I’m very happy with how it drives. It is very confident and nimble. The mileage is a little high however and it is adding up with my long commute. B. and I are swapping cars a few times during the week. I think it is good to try and balance the KM between the two cars.

The new TV season is upon us. I don’t think we have watched anything so far that is a stand-out. Hockey pre-season is on! I’ve watched the Leafs win one and lose one. *shrug* I don’t really care… just nice to have hockey back on. Sabres play Saturday.
