Sore throat

It has been a long week. We have been rushing up to Bolton right after work to look at houses… Some nights we didn’t get home until close to 10, tired and hungry. It may have finally paid off. We have not put an offer in on a house, but we are very close. We have found one we are watching. We (including our agent) think the house is over priced and waiting to see if anyone will offer on it as as is. Time (if there are no offers) is our friend. The longer it sits the more likely they are to accept a lower offer. The amount our bi-weekly payments change at this level is minimal. For several hundred thousand, a few thousand dollar difference comes down to 10 or 20 bucks a payment. So we are watching the property very closely. It is a beautiful property, within walking distance of downtown. I think we will put an offer in on it Wednesday. *fingers crosses!*

I woke up Saturday morning with a nasty scratchy throat, feeling achy breaky and generally under the weather. Blah. I feel a little better this morning but still feel very lethargic and achy. Hopefully this bug will pass soon.

We had my sister over for dinner yesterday. We BBQed the new President’s Choice Blue Menu Angus burgers… they were very good. We relaxed most of the evening watching the NHL finals. I was a little disappointed to see the Pens get manhandled by the Wings. Hopefully they will bounce back.

Work has been typically busy. One of out clients is going through some internal restructuring and as part of that they decided to drop on of the games we were developing. I don’t have many details yet. I should know more Tuesday but it a disappointing loss probably partially due to slow development process of our largely junior mobile team. Anyway, hopefully this will lessen the likelihood of more mobile titles. They are becoming very difficult to finish….
