I now live in Bolton, Ontario, Canada.
Where? Here. Oh. There! Yes. There.
Moving was essentially three days of non-stop lifting, packing, boxing, unboxing, organizing and running around. Since we sold our house before buying we kept all of our appliances. Donโt do this. First off, apparently no one does. All the appliance were here when we bought the new house, so now we have two of everything. This involved lugging them out of a narrow basement and dropping them all off into the garage, where they are now likely to sit for weeks. Gah. It was a mammoth undertaking moving them. *Thank gawd for the dolly!* I want to also thank my friends who came up and really made this move run as smoothly and efficiently as it did. Thanks to Joe, Pat, JP, Kirk and Steve. We appreciate all the pains and strains from a very long day of moving. *Cheers!*
So we say good bye to Brampton. We will miss the โdogโ friends and many of the conveniences of living in a big city. No more Starbucks. No more Chapters. No more Canada computers. Weโll also miss Heartlake Conservation area. We went there in all the seasons, it was always a relaxing and tranquil place to walk the dog and forget about the day. The house; Iโll miss the gardens and the feeling of โhomeโ which will take awhile to recreate here. Iโm sure it will happen though.
Weโve had a few visitors over the past two days. My parents came up Sunday night to see the place. Thanks for also bringing dinner. Last night Brian and Marnie came up and they also brought dinner. Thanks guys for making us stop and relax for a few hours, I certainly needed to stop.
