Both my mother and my gf’s mother made an appearance here today. =)
At different times. Her mom for typically British tea. My mother came over for dinner (Chinese…again..hehe). Good to see both of them. Sabres lost again. heh.

jane says it’s about freaking time

I don’t know why I didn’t add Jane’s Addiction to the lyrics section sooner… Ritual was one of the first CASSETTES I ever owned. This wrong has been righted today. 🙂

Americans… sigh.

I was shocked at the whole Michel Jalbert situation with the States. I also live close to the border and many of my friends and family often do a quick round trip to the States for gas, beer etc. This could have happened to them.

Yes, 911 was tragic, and obviously heightened security will ease tension etc. etc. BUT to undo behaviour that has occurred for YEARS and YEARS in a few weeks is horribly unrealistic. To think a Canadian could be jailed for a month in the States for such pettiness makes me wonder about our southern neighbour.

Even U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell told reporters the case was “an unfortunate incident.” Sad. Sad. Sad.
