Burned through the horror series Midnight Mass pretty quickly this week. It is slow to get going...(3 episodes in) but once it does, it is absolutely engrossing. A priest on an isolated small island brings an angel back with him after a pilgrimage to the middle east. He also brings a new religious fervor and miracles. But everything isn't as it seems. The writing is excellent and postulates many moral dilemmas (especially religious) for the characters on the island. One of the best horror series I've seen in a long time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⅓

My Mom gave us a car many years back when we needed one. My Dad run that car until he passed many years ago. The 2006 Elantra served us well for many years. It was a great little car. But things break down and concerns about safety rise. Ironically, the hood wouldn't shut yesterday. Anyway, we were lucky to be able to use it for so long. I hope it gets turned into a toaster or an oven.

Wow... getting rid of the car was a chore. Unfortunately, there are some really shady people in this business. The first one we deal with quoted a relatively high price for the car. When they got here they offered 1/5 then 1/2 the original offer. Classic bait and switch. We told him to leave. Just awful waste of time. 🙄 Bdot finally found an honest dealer who actually acknowledged this is an industry wide problem and it makes them all look bad. We were never going to get much money for the car but also weren't taking some goofy lowball offer either. So it is finally gone. RIP Elantra.
