Mad Men

There isn’t a lot on the tube these days. Even I can only watch so much hockey. *grin* Fortunately we have amassed a nice cache of HBO (etc.) series to watch. Last night we started watching Mad Men. I wasn’t such what to expect, I thought it was about Mafias or gangsters. Well… it wasn’t. It is a period drama set in the 50s within a big marketing company. It is quite entertaining. It certainly makes you notice how much change has occurred in 60 years. The change in attitude with race, women, smoking, etc… in some cases are very dramatic.

I got my first *full pay* from work today. This prompted me to look at the tax brackets in Ontario. Have you seen them? Very interesting.

Thai for dinner tonight. Yum. Assuming of course B. gets off the phone… *frown*
