Time to enter the Jade Empire

The interview went well I thought. They develop cell phone games and have sites to support their releases. Lots of cool stuff. The guys were decent as well, gamers –grin-. It seems they are hiring for two positions and two other candidates are my classmates. Ironically they are both students that have skills most similar to my own. I’d had to have to pick from us. Regardless what happens it was good to get an interview and build some confidence.

Congrats to the Under 18 Canada Team and their silver medal. It is great to strive for gold but the world of hockey is becoming highly competitive. The gold or nothing philosophy can led to a lot of disappointment. The American team was a full-time team that has been together quite a while. The Canadian team was selected from available OHL? Players. Why doesn’t Canada have a full time under 18 team? Hmmpt. Anyway, more hockey later this week, the Men’s World tourney ⚠️ (link now 404 😕 - Jan/24) is set to go. Not too sure how we are going to do, I’m surprised players such as Iginla opted out.

I picked up Jade Empire as a graduation gift to myself.
